Book Week is celebrated in August each year. It is a chance to celebrate reading and emphasise the importance of literature in education. 

Library lessons during term 3 are focused around Book Week and the it’s theme.

The 2019 theme is 'Reading is my Secret Power'.

CSPS celebrates Book Week with a bi-annual book parade. The Book Parade is always a fabulous and exciting event.

As we come together each day, we remember the traditional owners of this land, the Awabakal people. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and people here today. We will work together to understand their language, culture and the importance of country to the traditional owners. We acknowledge that the land of Australia always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
